It’s been a while. I had nothing to say before, but now I think I do.
Back in a Team GB & NI vest for the third time this year, I can’t believe the complete u-turn my athletics career has taken over the past 12 months.
For an update, check out past posts.
But I’m here to say one thing –
If you’re reading this and going through a hard time, keep going.
My pastor used to quote: If you’re going through hell, keep going.
Why?
We often get stuck in our own personal or professional ‘hells’.
And rather than rushing as fast as we can out of the fire, we stay stuck. Stuck in sadness. Stuck in overwhelm. Stuck in the normality of it all. Just plain stuck.
I always want to inspire you to unstick.
And even if things are going super well, my desire is always to push myself and my readers to desire and to aspire and to achieve even more.
I’m not proposing you don’t stop and smell the roses. Do that.
Stop. Smell the roses. Enjoy what you have and where you are. Give thanks.
And then unstick.
Move forward.
I was stuck in 2012. And in 2013. And in 2014. And in 2015. Then again in 2016.
In 2016, I got unstuck.
I ruptured my achilles tendon. I started a limited company, Manchester Tutors. I created a travel vlog and blogs. I pursued my passions and excellence.
And then I returned to being stuck.
So in 2018, I started jumping again.
And now we are in 2019. And I’m in my THIRD Team GB & NI vest of the year. Wow. God is good, huh?
So, I pray that me becoming unstuck this year inspires you to do the same.
P.s. To help me post more/if you’d like to see me post more, drop me a message or share in the comments what you’d like to see me write about…
Love,
