Home is where the heart is. And where my family is. Home is more than just one location. My home is everywhere in so many cities, countries and continents across the world.
The other week my home was Washington DC. (Read about my Thanksgiving travels here.)
And I am grateful to God each day for my family all over the world; I am richly blessed.
Where is your heart? And what blessings are you thankful for each day?

Beautiful pictures. short and sweet post.
You are right. Home is more much more than location. I really like the quote.
I feel at home anywhere I go with my family. If I travel alone it isn’t the same.
I understand that too. I’m quite a bubbly person whilst at the same time appreciating my quiet time. So I can connect quickly with strangers and also absorb myself in a good book or writing if alone. Family is everything 🙂
Appears you had a nice place to stay during your visit. Which room in the White House did they offer you? 😀
The ability to travel and make every place feel like home takes talent. Many get homesick. They create strong ties to their origins. Having the skill to attach your feelings to your current surroundings is a blessing. I am so glad you had a wonderful time.
Yes. I had lots of fun staying at the White House (I wish!). As athletes we travel so much I have found it hard to “miss” one place. It’s a necessary skill to have for me right now. Thanks for your comment 🙂
Great pictures Abigail!
And you look gorgeous and happy!
Thank u! I was very content :)))
Yeeees! I agree with you. Home is where your heart is, no matter the locations
