I’m sat in this lovely quirky little café on North Central Ave in Phoenix and I can’t help but think how blessed I am.
How did I even discover this perfect place? Google! Oh Google, I absolutely adore you. All I know is I wanted to get out more and be a social human – because I do love just chilling at home all day – so I checked out local coffee shops. Lo and behold, Phoenicians I present to you: Lux Central.
Free WiFi. Beautiful wine. Gorgeously relaxed customers. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. Comfy recliners. Bizarrely-carved wooden accessories. Funky hanging ceiling lights. Deliciously healthy food – salads, meats, soups. Cakes. Pastries. Cookies. Coffee. Tea. Chilled, undisruptive background music.
Need I go on?
And I came here to work and write. But now all I want to do is sit; bask in the atmosphere. ‘Relaxed’ and ‘free’ are two key words I’d use.
There’s no way I can work on my first day here. It’s too novel. I’ve got to take it all in. I’d invite you to come here if you’ve never visited before. It is worth it. And let me know how you like it! I’d love to read your review.
No more typing for me, though. I think I’ll pick up a book and read…
P.S. As I got up to leave, I chatted to someone new and bumped into someone I already knew. It’s a small world after all.
